Marquise de Merteuil, interfering with and playing with the lives of others, takes great pleasure in it. Her new target is Cecile, the daughter of her cousin who is involved with a man from the past. She tries to persuade her partner, the skilled Valmont, to seduce the virgin girl. This situation, which seems like a child's play to Valmont, does not interest him at all.
