Mark and Mary's sweet reunion takes place at a nearby drugstore, where she's busy shopping for pregnancy tests while he tries to remind her that they met in college. After asking her out, he accompanies her to take the test, and when the result is negative, she agrees to the date. A year later, they fell deeply and passionately in love, and their whirlwind romance led to marriage. Mark was surprised when Mary suddenly asked to disclose their relationship with an "ethically non-monogamous" but agreed to try. This is where the story really begins.
