Tony Montana adında bir Kübalı suçlu Miami'ye gelir ve uyuşturucu baronu Robert Loggia için çalışmaya başlar. Montana'nın açgözlülüğü ve öfkesi, hızla yayılan bir suç örgütünün lideri olmak için merdiveni tırmandı. 170 dakikalık film, çarklar gizli kapılar ardında dönerken uyuşturucu dünyasından başlayarak suç dünyasını gözler önüne seriyor. Howard Hawks'ın 1931 tarihli aynı adlı filminden uyarlanmıştır. Filmin senaryosunu yine Oliver Stone'a ait olan Brian De Palma yönetti. Hem tür hem de yönetmenin başyapıtı. Elbette Al Pacino'nun performansı ve müziğinden ayrı ayrı bahsetmek gerekir.
