Lewis, Sheriff, and Tony, three friends on vacation in Malaysia, take different paths when Sheriff and Tony decide to pursue careers in New York, while Lewis chooses to stay and work with orangutans. However, two years later, Sheriff and Tony discover that Lewis has been arrested for drug possession due to their past actions. Lewis now faces a death sentence, putting the friends in a tough situation: either return to Malaysia to share Lewis' sentence or watch him face death.
