In Afghanistan, an extremist Taliban group seizes a group of Korean tourists, prompting the Korean government to enlist the expertise of Jae-ho, a highly skilled diplomat, to manage the crisis. Despite his best efforts to secure the hostages' release with the Afghan government's cooperation, Jae-ho's attempts are unsuccessful. Forced to collaborate with Dae-sik, a specialized agent with extensive knowledge of the Middle East, they set out to confront the Taliban. Tragically, the situation escalates with the death of the first hostage. Left with no other options, the two forge an unlikely alliance as they race against time to rescue the remaining captives.
